1. DOS A CERO ALL OVER AGAIN

For the eighth time in the last 15 years, the US topped Mexico 2-0 on Wednesday night, getting goals from Jordan Morris and Juan Agudelo to beat their archrivals in San Antonio. It was a much-needed result for the US, with several players showing very well and Klinsmann's legacy as USMNT manager receiving a potential boost.

2. YOUTHFUL EXPERIENCE

All aboard the Jordan Morris hype train! The Stanford University forward scored his first career USMNT goal last night, bagging the game-winner in his first start with the senior national team. While he's enjoying lining up for the Red, White and Blue, Morris almost donned the Rave Green this year. As New York City FC and the Philadelphia Union get ready for their second encounter in less than one week (Thursday, 7 pm ET, MLS LIVE), NYCFC coach Jason Kreis is considering changes as he looks to avenge Saturday's loss at PPL Park. Despite playing 80 minutes for the US on Wednesday, Mix Diskerud insists he could be OK to go again tonight. As for the Union, it seems Erik Ayuk has forced his way into the starting lineup.

4. TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR SET FOR ALL-STAR SHOWDOWN

Tottenham Hotspur will be MLS' opponent in this year’s AT&T MLS All-Star Game in Colorado, it was revealed on Wednesday. As detailed here, Spurs are the latest in a long line of EPL sides to take on the best MLS has to offer. The match could feature not only former Seattle Sounders and USMNT defender DeAndre Yedlin, but also rising star Harry Kane, with both the English striker and Rapids coach Pablo Mastroeni giving their takes on the matchup.

Reigning MLS MVP Robbie Keane knows a thing or two about Tottenham, having played for the London club for eight years before moving to LA in 2011.
