1. THIERRY HENRY FIRED UP
Thierry Henry has been criticized in the past for seemingly not showing up during New York Red Bulls playoff games. Well, we’re two games into the 2014 MLS Cup Playoffs, presented by AT&T, and no one can talk about Henry's performances or will to win it this year. Just for fun, let's re-watch that back-heel pass he made this past weekend.
2. NGUYEN'S JOURNEY TO THE TOP
Lee Nguyen has led the New England Revolution this season -- and in the playoffs -- and he's clearly a leading candidate for Volkswagen MLS MVP. It's all a long way removed from two years ago, when he found himself being cut by the Vancouver Whitecaps.

It’s been a long season for the Vancouver Whitecaps' Pedro Morales, who admitted the weariness contributed to a poor performance in last week's playoff game. The Chilean playmaker is looking forward to a long rest and the start of a new season, when, according to head coach Carl Robinson, he’ll be joined by Matias Laba once again.
7. WILL COLLIN COME BACK TO KC?
Has Aurelien Collin played his last game for Sporting Kansas City? Negotiations between the club and the French center back, who is a free agent at the end of the year, are in a stalemate right now, it seems.
8. PAULSON: TIMBERS MADE PROGRESS IN 2014
Despite missing out on the playoffs, Portland Timbers owner Merritt Paulson believes his side was one of the top-five teams in the Western Conference, saying, “This is a very exciting, very good team that is easily a playoff-caliber team.”
9. LAMPARD LATEST
On Monday morning, a story that appeared suggesting that New York City FC star Frank Lampard will extend his loan stay with Manchester City through the end of the Premier League season. But later in the day, his agent denied the story.
10. THE JERSEYS ARE COMING!
Are you ready for some new looks? Orlando City SC are set to unveil their first MLS jersey this Wednesday, after dropping a sneak peek on Monday, while New York City FC will launch their 2015 kit on Thursday, November 13th.
11. MLS IN EL TRI'S FUTURE
Erick "Cubo" Torres's international career continues its upward trajectory as the Mexican international and RSL's Carlos Salcedo were named to the U-21 team for the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games, beginning November 14.
12. CANMNT TRAINING IN THE SUNSHINE
Ahead of next week's friendly with Panama, the Canadian national team will head to central Florida for a week of training at Orlando City SC’s training facilities. Speaking of OCSC and international soccer, two Lions players were just called into Portugal's U-20 team.
