Manager Jurgen Klinsmann was encouraged with Jermaine Jones's performance at center back while Tijuana left back Greg Garza looked good. Here are  some player ratings and a few lessons learned. 2. BEST IS YET TO COME FROM BRADLEY Toronto FC's Michael Bradley was the topic of much conversation in the lead up to the Honduras match, particularly from Klinsmann. But despite a few insinuations and criticisms, Bradley says his "best years are still ahead of me." 3. CANADA EDGED OUT BY COLOMBIA It was always going to be a tough test for Canada against a Colombia side that included James Rodriguez and Falcao, but the Canadians held their own in a 1-0 loss in a spirited performance on Tuesday. Yet, following some impressive displays in MLS, some wonder why Vancouver's Russell Teibert can't earn a spot in the Canadian squad? 4. INTERNATIONAL ROUND UP In other international action, Real Salt Lake forward Joao Plata scored his first two goals for Ecuador, Robbie Keane played the first 60 minutes of Ireland's 1-1 impressive draw with Germany, Roy Miller and Alvaro Saborio both saw time for Costa Rica, and Tim Cahill went 76 minutes for Australia in a 1-0 loss to Qatar. 5. US WOMEN KICK OFF QUALIFYING Wednesday sees the start of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2014 FIFA Women's World Cup, to be held in Canada. The USWNT opens against Trinidad & Tobago at Sporting Park (8 pm ET, Fox Sports 2).  6. T2 = TIMBERS USL PRO TEAM  The Portland Timbers announced the formation of "T2" - Timbers 2, a new USL PRO side that includes this unique program: The first 1,975 season-ticket holders for the new team would be afforded ownership-style perks as part of "The 1975 Trust." 7. S2, TOO Not to be outdone, the Seattle Sounders announced their own USL PRO side club that will see the supporters maintain a 20% ownership stake. The new team will play at StarFire Sports Complex. Meanwhile, the Sounders are calling for a new surface at CenturyLink. 8. ORLANDO CITY READY TO DIG IN With just one day to go until Orlando City break ground on their new stadium, team President Philip Rawlins is naturally excited and the man behind the Lions quick rise to MLS has been talking about when fans can expect the stadium to be completed as well as a number of other interesting titbits.   9. INJURY BLOW FOR UNITED Eastern Conference leaders D.C. United are on a four-match unbeaten run, but their playoff prospects took a hit following the news that leading scorer Luis Silva is likely out for at least a month. 10. STATE OF THE UNION After missing out on the playoffs for a third straight season, the Philadelphia Union are taking stock. Interim head coach Jim Curtin admitted the team "came up a little short" when the pressure was on. Here's one observer's take on what the Union can do over the off-season. 11. RAPIDS LOOKING AHEAD TO 2015 It's been a disappointing season for the Colorado Rapids and club President Tim Hinchey understands this. He's confident things will be different next year, including a closer working relationship with sister club Arsenal. 12. MAD MIGUEL HERRERA Miguel Herrera is known for getting quite animated on the touchline but it seems he may have gotten a little carried away on Sunday, even by his own standards, and for that the Mexico manager has apologised. 13. NO APOLOGIES FROM BRADLEY Former US national team manager Bob Bradley, now coaching Norwegian side Stabaek, gets the long-form treatment on NBCSports.com, and had this to say about his time with the USMNT and his departure in 2011: "There was no respect or appreciation for the work we did." 14. MORE ACTION THAN WORDS, PLEASE So far in his tenure, CONCACAF President Jeffrey Webb has done a lot of talking, but one observer would like to see more action.  15. MEANWHILE, IN INDIA A group of officials from the Professional Referee's Organization became a part of history when they officiated the first game in the Indian Super League. Atletico de Kolkota thumped Mumbai City FC, including a screamer of a goal from former Real Madrid midfielder Borja.
